The virtue of sacrifice is great before Allah. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “The son of Adam does not do anything on the Day of Sacrifice that is more beloved to Allah, the Almighty, than shedding blood. And it will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, hooves and hair, and the blood falls in a place with Allah, the Almighty, before it falls to the ground, so be content with it.” At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
