Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj with me.” So Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And in the hadith: “Whoever performs Hajj and does not utter obscenities or commit sins will return as on the day his mother bore him.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
